VOIP market is booming day by day and now there is a launch of pco4Nri which is a voip to call especially India only and there has been lots of talks about this pconri and it has promised to give cheap and free calls to India and other destinations..
We have seen the PCO booths in the past days in the market a Small room type place which can be used to make calls well on the same step the new voip service named under it has been launched knowb as PCO4NRI.
PCO4NRI has introduced a PCO4NRI which charges you just 1 rupee per minute which is asically, PCO4Nri Calling Cards is offering some plan in which they are offering calls to India at 1 Rupee per minute. But is that useful for you ans is effective rate around 2.3 cents per min.
The service PCO4NRI is providing similar to the service provided by to other calling cards via a access number both the local and Toll free services so this is not a new type of service and similar to the service produced by Reliance India call or Airtel Call home.
It has also admitted not to charge any additional charges ,so setup charges no other extra fees and no hidden costs its as clear as a glass it says..
Plans offered by PCO4Nri :
The Value Plan : This plan will charge you just 2 cents per minute which is not that cheap as compared to other voip providers so in my experience this is not a plan to choose and also the probpen you might face is in the validity period which is not as good as other are providing so kick off this plan.
The Traveler Plan: This is some how a new plan and works fine then the Value plan and the rates will depend on the call durations you make. which is a really interesting to look out for,
Basically the time duration from 0 to 210 sec will charge you 0.049 $ for the whole first interval and once you cross this limit next charge will be 0.039 $/min.
so my review for this plan is thumbs up only if you need to talk longer duration else you will find this plan worse than the above plan itself..
The Unlimited Conversation Plan - As title suggests the plan seems to make Unlimited calls but it is not true and in this plan is you can call upto 90 minutes at the first time which will charge .44 cents which is cheaper than the cheapest and you can make calls up to 90 minutes which means you need to talk more than 30 minutes at a time .
Ideally this plan works fine if you talk more but if you talk for small durations the charges are very high that means you will be charges 1.33 cents per minute which is not a good plan to choose for .
but there is also a small problem in this plan,once you start calling and you calls gets interrupted in the middle than you will be charged 1.33 cents which will be a bad deal to have for the cheap calls you are searching for..
so choose the plan which suits you and hope it deliver same promise as it has made.
